I had a blue tint on one of my teeth from my last filling, next to the one that was just filled. I had texted the office about it, and made an appointment to have it checked. I texted the office before my appointment and asked if I would owe anything today, they told me to see the doctor I wouldn’t be charged but if anything needs to be done they will give me a quote beforehand. The office was nice enough and the tech was a very sweet young woman, but Dr. Schvaneveldt was terrible. Oh he was nice, don't get me wrong, but I went in for a tooth extraction and it took him an hour to pull it. While I understand that it was in bad shape and caught up on an impacted wisdom tooth, where I take issue is the fact that it was taking so long and he didn't give me a bite block or anything to help hold my jaw open. This is a very unprofessional dentist. I was a patient of his for several years and watched him on several occasions ask questions to patients and then when the patient answered the question he would look at his assistant and make a mocking, childish face. This was done in a way so the patient would not see. I am not sure if he has a superiority complex from working as a dentist at the Utah State Prison and still views patients as lesser beings but this behavior is beyond unacceptable.

I would recommend any dentistry but this place. 0 stars is too many for this place. I went there in 2018, or so, when I had a wisdom tooth grow in randomly. I went in to get it pulled and the dentist told me he recommended not pulling it then and then ushered me out the door. I left and thought all is well. The dentist then tried to charge me 2200$ just for this and didn't even attempt to send it through insurance. After refusing to pay until they did so, they sent my bill to collections.
