Another example of poor assessment. Instead of providing a drip treatment for a migraine, the patient sat in the recliner for 3+ hours in agony waiting for a Dr. to say “yes, you need a drip”, despite having it done on numerous occasions. But hey, the guy with a sore ankle should have priority. Brutal system.

One of the worst emergency room experiences I have ever had. We arrived at the hospital at 6:00 PM and were forced to wait over 8 hours to be seen. This is completely unacceptable. During such an extreme wait time, a person with a serious condition could literally die. What makes this even more frustrating is that patients clearly under the influence of drugs were repeatedly prioritized, while working, law-abiding taxpayers were left sitting for hours with no information, no updates, and no sense of urgency from the staff. I had an ultrasound appointment yesterday at Ridge Meadows Hospital, and the nurse’s behavior was completely unacceptable. She was extremely rude, dismissive, and lacked basic communication skills. Patients deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, and this was not the case at all. This interaction caused unnecessary stress and reflects poorly on patient care standards. I hope hospital management takes this feedback seriously and addresses this behavior.
