We rented a tandem kayak, 2-3 hr, and had a great experience. The equipment was in great condition and they gave us an overview of the area and made sure we were comfortable before we set off.
This was our second trip with Rideaway. It's a little tricky to find the small marina, but now that we know the way, it'd not so bad. They're always friendly and accommodating and eager to point out the best routes around bay depending on the day. We liked it better than some of the river kayak trips.
Spencer was an awesome tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable about the various bird and fish species, as well as cape history and all things happening on the cape. He was super personable. Would definitely recommend!
Perfect afternoon with my husband and children. The water was just challenging enough for a beginner. Highly recommend and the staff member who assisted us was awesome.
Peaceful workout around the island. Saw a seal pop-up a few times mere feet away.
