We booked the Rideau because it’s close to the inlet. My husband has mobility issues and cannot walk long distances. They were able to provide us with a wheelchair for the duration of our stay at no charge. Our oceanfront room was very clean and has been updated. The only drawback we had was that while housekeeping provided us with clean towels daily, our beds weren’t made each morning. We had an excellent stay and would recommend this place to others. The room was clean and has tile flooring, which is good when you're visiting the beach and tracking any sand. The staff were really friendly and were informative about places to eat and visit. They provide brochures and discount books for places in the area. They have hot coffee in the office and a vending machine with beverages outside of the office. There are two shops that you can get discounts at by showing your room key. The service is really good. The staff are very friendly. Location is great. It takes less than a minute to get to the boardwalk. Overall it was a great experience.
This hotel is a perfect beachfront spot. Great service at the desk (Happy Birthday to the sweet Nicole and the General Manager was working at the desk one day and was equally awesome), the Premium Oceanfront room I booked was exactly as advertised (I'm often worried about the bait and switch where the online photos are one thing but reality is another lol) and there was no extra charge for parking ($20 per day for more than one car FYI).
