Rick's Sewer and Drains- we called them to follow up on a clogged clean out that had previously been routed by Roto-Rooter- who had told us we needed the entire line replaced. Two lovely guys arrived at the house, put a camera down and I got to watch the video and keep the video (on a thumb drive) and was told that the line was actually ok, that annual routing would be sufficient and they even told me what would happen if one of the clay sections did fail and how they could repair if that occurred. 5 stars I called late yesterday 4-28 and they showed up early today 4-29 I cared them because our main line got clogged I had previously called other 2 companies and they wanted an arm and a leg they looked at our problem give me a fair price and I accepted they took them like 15min tops and out main line was unclogged fair to say they know what they are doing and fair on prices thank you guys highly recommend them
Great job, Great price. Another business wanted to replace the entire sewer line. Quote over $21000. Tree roots totally clogged 6 inch clay sewer line in my front yard. Ricks came out. Went 8 feet deep to remove and replace the clogged section. Plus added a clean out. And inspected the rest of the line with a camera. That was good to go. This took them approx 5 hours. Was about 1/4 of the price of a total sewer line replacement. I highly recommend Ricks
The fact that on the first day of the job one of the workers would not support the “bosses” claim of being the best should have SCREAMED crappy work. DO NOT hire this place if you're looking to have the job done right. ESPECIALLY if you live in Mount Prospect and you are having your sump system redone because of the village ordinance. This company comes in low ball quotes to guarantee they get the work then they come in do half ass work, collect their grant money from the village.
