Stator and regulator/rectifier went on my 2007 Yamaha FJR1300. Ordered replacements from Rick’s. Order was shipped quickly and packaged well. The parts seemed very well made and were a perfect fit. Voltage output was spot on and the parts work perfectly. The parts were a very good value over OEM. I’m very happy with the parts from Rick’s and would definitely recommend them.
This last part purchase everything went exactly as it should for the voltage regulator for my r6, however I purchased the lithium ion one less than a year before this bought a brand new oem stator from a certified Yamaha vendor and a brand new lithium ion battery and writhing 150 miles the bike stopped working after riding over a break in the highway at 50mph. Bought the high out put stator and lithium compatible rectifier. Install was easy. Works great. Loved the plug and play set up. Only complaint is one of the threaded holes for the outer cover has next to no threads in it. Little extra rtv and a piece of ziptie beside the thread and no leak.
I contacted Rick’s needing replacements for my 2006 Triumph Sprint ST. Although my charging system was still working, the stator was original (20 years old), and the R/R was aftermarket at 15 years old and the connector had melted. Replacement of both seemed pertinent at their ages. They got right back to me with a new kit for my motorcycle, in-stock. I ordered it early morning and it shipped same day. Love the part. Fit was perfect and came with plenty of extra cable to put the regulator in a better spot. Shipped on time and got to me pretty quick.
