We stopped at Rick's Kitchen on our way to San Diego from Phoenix. My wife, Jennifer read about Rick's and all of the reviews were positive. The reviews were 100% correct. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendliest waitress we've ever met. My wife and I can't remember her name, but she was amazing. We let her know it was our first time at Rick's and we were on our way to SD. She told us she was a school nurse in SD prior to working at Rick's. She gave us some places to go see in SD. I was referred to this establishment by a relative and I’m glad I took their advice and checked this place out. The food is great and the service is excellent! We had a really friendly waitress the first two times we went, she offered us some great recommendations and it did not disappoint. I love the vibe, food and the views. I’ll be making this place a regular spot to visit.
Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, but the food......we felt sick you our stomachs almost immediately after eating, and the Home Fries, not, they are frozen potatoes.....we have had better food at Denny's..... Gross!! We ate at 7:40 this morning, and my stomach still hurts. We will not be returning.
Good old fashioned diner feeling. Staff very courteous & friendly. Food fast & presented well
