I am posting my review a number of months later following the loss of my mom. Kathy and her husband are the most gracious and compassionate human beings for this kind of business, and our family has done our funeral arrangements with swilleys for a number of years and way back before I was even born. There aren't enough words to say how thankful we are to Kathy. She made the whole process so smooth and easy. Grieving itself is no walk in the park. This was my first time ever having to deal with this side of losing a loved one and Kathy put my worries at ease. From dealing with mom's life insurance to making sure she looked perfect for her funeral service. She was patient, professional, gave wonderful advice and suggestions. Kathy was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. She was incredibly caring, compassionate, and attentive to every detail. It was clear how much pride she takes in her work. My mom looked absolutely beautiful—more than we could have hoped for—and Kathy made sure to take all of our requests into consideration. Her kindness and professionalism made a difficult time much more bearable. We are so grateful for her gentle presence and thoughtful care.
