So I called and the gentleman answered and I told him about my hot water heater and I told him that I had the control valve replaced but that even though the pilot light was striking, the gas wasn't igniting. He went on in a long conversation about how you can't buy those control valves, he told me that usually people sell those from train wrecks or truck wrecks and that he can't even get those parts.
