Meet the Business Owner Rick W. Business Owner Hospitality is in my blood - my parents bought their first restaurant in Oklahoma when I was 12 years old, my uncle had a 600 hundred acre ranch and grandparents farmed almost everything that was on the table in the evening. It taught me at an early age to appreciate where our food is grown and raised and the importance of respecting our land. Building 20 restaurants the last 25 years sums up my passion. Hospitality is what I have chosen to embrace as my life work. I always say ... read more

What an odd mix of experiences in one meal. I took my husband here for our anniversary. Let me explain why I only gave three stars for food--the array of dishes had highs and lows and the average just came out to be...average. But there were highlights and lowlights. The food was amazing with very generous portions. I had the 16oz New York Strip encrusted in Panko with creamed spinach and a wedge salad. Some others had the cowboy which was ridiculously huge. The drinks were made well balanced with a kick. Our server, Kelvin, was great at making suggestions and very knowledgeable about the town and restaurant. He was very personable and elevated our experience.
Attended Sunday brunch for the first time here and wasn’t that thrilled. The buffet style brunch had a large selection of both breakfast and lunch items to choose from, but the taste and quality were just o.k. Unfortunately, this is the only dining option you have until they change the menu over for the dinner hour. Our party arrived well ahead of our reservation time, fully prepared to enjoy cocktails at the bar if our table wasn’t ready. However, the staff at Rick’s went above and beyond and graciously seated us at our designated table right away. Our server, Sasha, was absolutely phenomenal—easily one of the best in the Dallas area. She knew the menu inside and out, offered excellent recommendations, and handled our ever-changing orders with patience and professionalism. If you're planning a visit to Rick’s, I highly recommend reques... read more
