Fantastic shop and excellent customer service, 1st time customer and I am very impressed. Pick up a rebuilt transmission from Rick Rood's for less than the repair cost of my original. Thank you Lyle, Rick, Paul, and the entire team there for your excellent service.
I drive a 1984 Chevy C10 6.2 l V8 Diesel NA RWD in pretty original condition with close to 400k km. After moving from the Prairies to Nova Scotia with a full load plus boat on the hook I blew my four speed with overdrive transmission. Ending up having it rebuilt, Rick Rood's was recommended to me by three different shops. Stranded near Liverpool I had Chevy South Shore do the installs and Rick Rood's the rebuild including a few performance upgrades. It feels like a new truck! Thanks Rick and team!
