I was feeling pretty beat up after a couple months of heavy athletic training. I booked a 90-minute massage with Rick. The massage itself was fantastic, a mix of relaxation with sports massage techniques that undid knots and relieved stress. His studio is also in a wonderful location. Rick Lothrop was my classmate in massage school. He was one of those naturally talented massage people from the get-go. I remember one day we were working on the Trapezius muscle, the shoulder muscles that are always tight across the top of the shoulders and back and neck, and -- wow! I had an incredible deep tissue massage with Rick. I booked a 60-minute session, and it was exactly what I needed—thorough, effective, and incredibly relaxing. I honestly wish I had gone for the 90 minutes! It was well worth the hour-long drive, and I’ll definitely be making the trip again. Highly recommend!
