Went in for their advertized $29 oil change (total rip off) they up charged me for anything and everything one could imagine including misc. Shop fees and apperantly an oil filter is not included in oil change at this place. Its an up charge and over retail at that. The worst part is they didn't do anything else as advertised. Did not top off fluids, didn't rotate tires, they couldn't even put the undercarriage plastic back on tight, they just let it drag under my car, they couldn't even reset the oil maintain light for me..... read more
These people are so dishonest it's disgusting. I went for an oil change and not only did they charge me DOUBLE (said my car required a more expensive oil, even though I have had another Rick Johnson location in Fort Myers replace my oil several times for half the price). They then took me out to my car and showed me my rotors and gave me some BS about "do you see how these are smooth? they have been worn down and need replacing". . What?! Rotors ARE smooth. I had to replace the Disc Brake Pads of all 4 Wheels & the Front Rotors on my Toyota Solara Coupe. They gave me several different options. They were clear and made every effort to assist me with the best offer so I would be happy with the outcome. I was very pleased with every detail and recommend them highly. Driving around with no AC for 3 weeks do to cost, which I priced out at Tire Choice and Tire Kingdom. So I figured I could wait on getting it fixed. Then a buddy of mine said Rick Johnson Auto and Tire had a huge discount. I called and brought my car in first thing. Fan Belt, Air Conditioning Condenser, and Evaporator Core is what I needed to replace my Ac. The whole system needed to be replaced evacuate and recharge. I have AC and it did not break my budget! Rick Johnson Auto and Tire will away have my business!
