We saw Dr. Chen for an appointment and it was a really comforting experience. My dog had recently been attacked by another dog so she is more anxious, nervous and scared at veterinarian appointments as a result but Dr. Chen and her assistant (She was so sweet as well) made the appointment as accommodating and comforting for my pup as possible and I couldn’t be more grateful. I saw Dr Monaco and RVT Claudia for my chinchilla Kappy, he is 6-7 years old and I just got him about a month ago. He has never been to a vet before so I wasn’t sure how he was going to do in general going in for a check up. Both Dr Monaco and Claudia handled him with so much care and despite him being a bit confused as to what on earth they were doing to ensure he was a healthy boy, I know overall he was comfortable in their hands and made sure he had time in between during the exam for breaks. Not great experience.
I got grounded to fly due to my service animal having a bout of diarreah at the airport and needing clearance to fly. They got me in right away for an appointment. They werekind, professional, and efficient. And the exam cost of $150 was very acceptable to me.
Really like Vet Dr Portche. She was thorough in her exam, flashlight ears, eyes, rectal exam, stethoscope for breath & heart sounds. Very thorough. However, disappointed that a normal cat teeth cleaning, under anesthetic & any teeth pulled couldn't be done for under $1000. no they need $4000. Specialist that who can afford as a disabled senior with a senior cat? We understand the risk. Not this Vet but another suggested final sedation.
