I'm unsure why this hospital has such bad reviews. I have taken my whole family here for multiple departments and always had a great experience, despite the circumstances. Staff are knowledgeable, compassionate, and they listen. You will have to wait but that's every hospital. All in all, great local hospital for the community.

Hopefully it’s a safe hospital when you go to Staten Island Hospital on the other side and you’re in your 80s or 90s And you’re by yourself and your no family they put you down! I’ll find out today my uncle’s in this hospital” So far didn’t hear anything bad about this hospital every thing looks good. Very busy. Hospital. Staff is very good.

I want to sincerely thank the ER team at Richmond University Medical Center for saving my life — not once, but twice. I was brought in both times in a diabetic coma, and their quick, professional, and compassionate care truly saved me. The doctors and nurses didn’t just do their job — they went above and beyond to make sure I was safe, stable, and treated with kindness. I felt seen, respected, and cared for. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of emergency care. These are real heroes, and I will be forever
