no pool or sauna anymore, wobbly old basketballs, and a dusty weightroom. at least everyone is friendly but the gym has gone downhill over the past few years
I have been a Hilltop YMCA member for years. I love the fitness classes, like Saturday Zumba and H.I.I.T. classes. I also enjoy taking yoga and body conditioning classes during the week. The instructors are awesome. They really make you sweat and you can go at your own pace. My fitness has really improved and I am satisfied with the friendly and open environment. I have gone here for nearly 15 years before and after they closed down and reopened, and all my experiences have been positive until today. I have always gotten along quite well with all the different staff members, but today a very rude and condescending young lady working at the front desk made me feel very unvalued and unwelcome. I was having an issue with my membership and hoping to renew it, but after my encounter with this individual, I am sure I will not be returning to this location any time soon. Used to love all of the classes at this facility. Now, very few in the evenings. Covid is OVER, bring back the group classes!
