So I bought a certified used 2018 Elantra from this dealership in 2022. When I purchased it they told me the ac compressor was not working and they needed to replace it. So they did that before I took the car off the lot. Fast forward to today: my serpentine belt keeps ripping and my trusted repair shop says the ac compressor is busted. Because of the faulty compressor I now need to replace it, two belts and the alternator for a few thousand. How could a compressor fail within 2 years?
