Great place to walk at night !!
This is a hidden gem in Richmond Hill. I wish the city had more of a budget to advertise this more throughout the GTA and Ontario.
Over 90 years old and it still works. Must've felt like it was out in the middle of the sticks when it was built pre-war but now it's surrounded by urban sprawl. Good on the City of Richmond Hill to keep the lands public. Free self guided tours. Nighttime programs to actually view through the telescope requires a fee and reservation online. Free parking.
