I recently visited East Richmond Urgent Care because I was experiencing severe hip pain — I couldn’t walk, sit, lie down, or even sleep because of it, and it was seriously affecting my daily life. Absolutely unacceptable experience. I went to this urgent care center today at 12 PM because I was feeling unwell. The center was clearly marked as open, yet I was told all appointments were booked until 7 PM and was simply told to go somewhere else. The most outrageous part? The place was completely EMPTY—no patients, no activity, nothing. How can an urgent care center turn away someone in need while doing absolutely nothing? This is beyond disappointing—it's infuriating.
We got there at 11am (note that they close at 10pm), and we were turned away with a “2 hour wait time” because they were apparently at capacity. It would be nice if the information posted online was accurate so I could’ve saved myself a drive from Vancouver with my sick toddler.
They close at 10, online shows 38 mins wait time, got there at 8, doctors aren't seeing patients anymore..
Don’t bother got there at 8:05PM 1 person waiting, closes at 10PM “At full capacity”, don’t even ask you what’s wrong and just sends you out
