I've lived in RVA almost half my life and don't know how I never knew about this. We were looking for something to do this past weekend and stumbled across the Canal Cruise. This was a cool little pasttime for us to do and our captain was great. I enjoyed listening to him throughout the ride as he talked about history in a fun way. Definitely buy tickets online as there was nobody in the ticket booth. There are only 25 seats available per boat (I believe). We enjoyed the cruise. Our tour guide, David, was very knowledgeable.
Nice, simple and short river cruise giving you a brief history of the canal area with a touch of humor. Comfortable seating. Very reasonable cost. Could use better signage to locate parking and steps to boarding Quick and easy on- line ticketing
