Dr. Richmond did my thyroid surgery 3 months ago, he did a great job. My scar is minimal and his after care was great. The office staff is super sweet, and helpful.

Dr. Richmond is amazing. From the first visit, he has been kind and considerate and reassuring. I chose to have a total thyroidectomy for Graves’ disease, and I couldn’t have had a better surgical team. He described everything that I wanted/needed to know, and he was there once I woke up. The team at CAMC did wonderfully, and I highly recommend them all!
After finding out I had a suspicious thyroid nodule, I was immediately sent over to Dr. Richmond. I was very nervous but the moment he walked in the door, he put my mind at ease. He started off by letting me know that this is common and very treatable with or without a cancer diagnoses. Once we confirmed cancer later on, PTC (Papillary Thyroid Cancer), he brought me back in to talk about surgery.
