In August 2025 I got a thermostat housing component replaced for a coolant leak about $600. It is now 3/6, my car has still been hitting the hot mark for a couple months since back in Jan 2026 too but I just got the chance to take to a new mechanic who gave me the run down that that housing component is massively leaking still. Called up there and they said “thats 6 months, our warranty is like 5 months”; Of course I’m being told the warranty is shorter than the period since they’ve “repaired it”.
