Rob’s gym is awesome! Unfortunately I only got to take classes for two weeks while attending Air Force training, but this gym had an amazing impact on my bjj journey. First of all, the gym is the cleanest I’ve ever seen! The instructors are very patient, clear and want every student to understand the concepts and improve. Visiting the area so we dropped in for an open mat. As a fellow gym owner a few things immediately stood out : - Gym and bathroom are super clean 🧼 - Students are extremely friendly which means healthy culture and environment. - Professor is not only highly skilled but also takes active role developing each student. He also attends all the competitions which is very important. If you're new to BJJ or looking for a new gym, this one checks off all the boxes. Looking forward to my next visit!
Excellent club, highly recommend! Professor Rob, his fellow instructors, and the men and women at Richardson BJJ couldn’t have been more welcoming or knowledgeable. I was a drop in for a night at the advanced class and it felt great to train with likeminded practitioners just trying to get a little better every day. Thanks for letting me join the crew, this would be my full time gym if I lived in the area.
The last gym I trained at closed and it was between Richardson Jiu Jitsu and another local school. After visiting both it was obvious which one I should join. In fact, within a week I wished I had started at RJJ from the beginning. From the top tier instruction to the hard rolls, I continue to be challenged and look forward to every class. Also, the gym vibes are second to none. I’ve built some of the closest friendships I have since I’ve been here.
