I recently brought my wife’s car in for a few repairs. I worked with Dave (or David?), who got the process started as quickly as possible. Didn't have to go without the car while waiting for parts. Good customer service, good rates for the parts needed and the work done, pretty quick and straightforward process.
I think the staff at Richard’s is already well aware of what went wrong. After returning he from a week-long trip, we were specifically told our car would be ready between the hours of one and 5 PM on Monday. We did our best to stay in constant contact with the team that day, but those same efforts weren’t met by Richard’s body shop. By the time 5 o’clock rolled around and the shop closed, we hadn’t heard from anyone, leaving my wife and I scrambling to find for another way to get her to daycare in the morning. I took my car in for front-end repair and repainting, and you charged me $1,800. But now, the front bumper doesn’t align properly with the headlights, and there are still visible imperfections. When I asked about it, you said it couldn’t be fixed—unless I paid extra. So why would I bring my car to your shop in the first place? I might as well take it somewhere better. You never seem to do things properly.
When I came to Richard’s Body Shop my car was covered with salt and snow, they immediately washed my car before doing the estimate, took their time, and gave me a real, thorough assessment. From there, the whole process was smooth. Even though I went through the other driver’s insurance instead of my own, they handled everything professionally and kept me updated.
