Richard’s Automotive helped me with a same day repair and were fast and efficient. Riley was kind in the office and James a lead mechanic was quite knowledgeable and explained my engine problem in a clear way that I could understand. But what surprised me the most was that they saved me from a probable RV fire. Ok so this place was fantastic. Driving down to The Bay and unfortunately struck an animal that ended up causing some major damage. With no time to research "the best" mechanic near me, I simply googled, "mechanics near me". Went with the first listing which was this place. Mechanics I feel get a bad rep for nickle and diming. My kids and I were traveling through Redding when our car overheated. Richard’s Automotive was amazing. They were able to get my car in, diagnose the problem, fix it, and have us back on the road within a few hours. The mechanic even test drove our van up Shasta Dam to ensure it was fixed and wouldn’t overheat again. Great experience. Highly recommend!
Needed maintenance work on my car before a trip, I got several bids for brakes, and Richard's was THE ONLY one who offered financing options with the bid. Who wouldn't want a zero % option instead of paying full price in one lump?( I was also able to have more work done for the same price as just brakes at the other places). The other places I got bids from never offered, though I found out later that they had a similar option. Attention to detail is huge for me. Customer service and work were great! Highly recommend!
We drove 2 hours to get our truck serviced here and don't regret it! Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff! They did the work you requested and in the end told you the truth about what may need to be done to put more life into your vehicle, but they didn't push it on you to get them done by them or right that minute.
