I have been trying to schedule an appointment for over a month now. I keep on getting instructions to obtain a prior authorization because my insurance plan is an HMO according to them. I do not have an HMO plan, I've had my current plan for years. I have informed them, my pcp informed them and my health insurance plan tried contacting them to let them know I don't have an HMO plan. My experience with Dr. Farnam was excellent. Not only was he professional, but also excelled with bedside manners. The professionalism and quality of care is five-star. Understanding the difference between a general gynecologist versus a surgeon specializing in urogynecology is imperative to your care and recovery. I experienced no pain after my robotic, laparoscopic procedure. My recovery was much smoother compared to my tubal ligation. I highly recommend Dr. Farnam for women’s health care needs.
