Dr Petrella is a very good doctor. He doesn't try to rush through things, he explains everything where you understand. He will always ask if you have questions. His staff is very nice also. I would recommend Dr. Petrella to anyone that is in need of a great and caring heart doctor.
It makes me sad to even have to address this type of behavior... My mother was recently dismissed as a patient by this cardiologist, and the reason was shocking. During a hospital admission, the hospitalist consulted her long-time vascular surgeon because he had performed procedures on her in the past. This was not a second opinion that my mother sought on her own — it was a standard, appropriate consult initiated by the hospital. Care provided was excellent. Outcome was well above expectations. Dr. Patrella was thorough and explained all parts of the procedure and recovery. Hard to express my gratitude.
Unprofessional, should have just walked out. Treated like some low life time I walked in the office the first time. The doctor just shrugged his shoulders about the treatment.
