i was not initially going to go with this firm for a tax appeal as my sister does her own appeals on line, and showed me how to do it. I wanted to file my own appeal, but I had a unique situation where I felt the property should be assessed for commercial as opposed to residential valuation as it was zoned commercial, and the FHA had deemed it to be "unacceptable property". I'm not sure if Richard Shapiro, the person/lawyer even exists. At best the firm is a fraud like others have stated with not providing paperwork, with being inconsistent. In a divorce proceeding prior to divorce my ex hired them for $50; the house was later quit claimed deeded to me and the assessment value was astronomical thanks to Shapiro. Shapiro's Team (again I don't know that he really exists) told me not to worry for $50 they would appeal; they did came back with a slightly lower value, and then my tax bill was hit wi... read more
