Dr Matthews is on the board of Gulf Breeze Hospital and is a strong supporter of patient satisfaction as a measure of medical excellence. Communication is key in his business office and patient relationships. He thoroughly explains what is going on in your body and coordinates an effective treatment plan. Dictation is done in the exam room and he asks for patient input. A record of the appointment is available immediately after so patients know what was done and will be done to help them.

Dr. Matthews has been my physician for over 20 years. He has provided me consistently with outstanding care. He is a consummate professional. He treats his patients like family and is very caring. I absolutely trust him with the care of all my family and friends. I very highly recommend him.
