My father went to Crozer ED with heart rate of 30! The resident in the ED called mccurdy and Mccurdy told the resident to discharge my dad to home! I said no way there is no way I’m taking my father anywhere without a cardiac monitor and I don’t have the meds to give him if he goes systole! I was a new patient, 74, and seeking a new cardiologist. I really felt dismissed by this doctor. I wanted further testing of my heart like an echocardiogram and a stress test to set a new baseline. He dismissed them all. I had to ask him about the electrocardiogram results that was just given by the nurse. He should have told me not me having to ask about it. I felt my visit was a waste of time. I am definitely not coming back.
Dr Mc Curdy is a great Dr He answers all your questions i never feel rushed I would highly recommend him.
