Dr. Pong is the best! He’s been so patient with my million-and-one questions, taking the time and care to address each one thoroughly. He has provided reassurance and has helped to put my mind at ease over my child’s health. In all of my interactions with him over the past few months, I get the impression that he genuinely cares about his patients. We’re lucky to have him!

Dr. Pong has poor bedside manner, does a poor job communicating, listening and taking an interest in his role as a pediatrician. He was very dismissive of most complaints and the entire appointment felt very rushed. He was more concerned with getting through the appointment as quickly as he could, so he could leave, than treating my child’s concerns accurately. Hopefully, we can avoid having to see Dr. Pong again in the future.

Quite unfriendly, unprofessional, dismissive and rushed us through the appointment that we waited patiently over an hour in the room for. Felt as if we were an inconvenience to him. Took no general interest in my son or acknowledgment of the concerns that he presented with. There are several other wonderful doctors to see at this Stony Brook Pediatric location and I would HIGHLY recommend seeing ANYONE BUT Dr. Pong. Going to make sure we never book another appointment with him again. Sad.
