Dr. Savino is great. I broke my arm and needed a reverse shoulder replacement. I was absolutely terrified but he and his PA made me feel 1,000,000 times better. The surgery was two weeks ago and the pain from the surgery gets better every day. I *IMMEDIATELY* felt relief from the pain from the break (my humerus was badly broken). He is an incredible surgeon. He works with my hand doctor who’s awesome as well. I had shoulder surgery and it was such a relief to not be in pain anymore. The staff along side Dr Savino are great. If you have shoulder issues you won’t be sorry if you visit Dr Savino and his staff
Dr. Savino is incredibly knowledgeable and highly skilled, but what truly sets him apart is his genuine care for his patients. I was initially very nervous about my situation, but Dr. Savino's calming presence and support helped me gain the confidence to proceed with the treatment. I went to Dr. Savino when his practice was in Port Jefferson for an ankle fracture. Every follow up appointment with Dr. Savino made me feel like I didn’t know what I was feeling since my ankle continued being swollen and painful. I questioned why an MRI was not ordered on my initial visit. Dr. Savino said it wasn’t necessary. I suggested an MRI on the second visit when my condition hadn’t changed.
