About this business

I became a doctor because I enjoyed learning about the human body, and I wanted to have a positive impact on peoples lives. My philosophy of care is I want to educate my patients to the best of my ability so they feel comfortable making informed decisions about their care. I enjoy learning about my patients careers and hobbies. Outside of work, I enjoy cross fit and masters swimming, and I love following baseball.

Front office staff/nurses are friendly, helpful and kind. Dr. Hughes was arrogant, condescending and very unprofessional. He questioned why we were her (the hospital made the appointment for my husband) and after telling him why he left the room to check the hospital record/diagnosis. He didn’t bother to check this beforehand! When I told him that the ultrasound my husband at the hospital showed a small mass on his left kidney. Dr. Hughes replied that no ultrasound was done and there was no small mass. I repeatedly told him ... read more

The staff was great, very friendly. The ladies at the front were so nice, so this review is in no way shape or form a reflection of them. The Dr was not very nice from the beginning of the visit. Definitely has poor bedside manner. He talked to me as if I was stupid, and basically stating nothing wrong with me as far as he could see. He brought across the hall to show me on the computer there was a small spot, that he didn’t even think was a kidney stone. When I stated what I was told in the hospital, he said he didn’t know ... read more

I'm going to start this off by saying the front desk staff and the nursing staff are great at this office. Lets get to the doctor. If you like feeling a doctor cutting your vas deferens and being in excruciating pain, this is your doctor. If you like your doctor mad at you because the local didn't take effect and you told him it hurt and he didn't stop to figure out why, this is your doctor. If you like you doctor wanting to stop mid way through your vasectomy because he thought you should be able to handle the pain, this is... read more

He will give you one minute of his time. Exactly 60 seconds and leave you talking. He will get an attitude after the 60 seconds are up and start exiting the door.
