Weill Cornell pediatric ophthalmology is horrible. Forget about the doctors, I am talking about the staff and office manager. I made it early to my appointment with my 2 year old. Everything was fine until the front desk told me the doctor is running an hour or so behind (which is okay, I get it delays can happen) BUT, as the office manager, it is his job to call the patients to let them know this. I would not recommend waiting for an appointment for the doc specifically, as when you arrive they just have junior associates conducting the examinations anyway. I guess this is what happens when you grow to big and have multiple offices.
Dr. Levey is a great Doctor- he was very clear and direct in explaining what my daughter needed. I also appreciate his honesty and setting expectations. We also appreciated him using surgery as a last resort.
This rating is for the staff at 212 E 69th St on November 17th 2021 visit. This review was put up a year ago and was on a review on the wrong doctor. My review concerns the 2 ladies at the reception and another for the nurse for Dr. Levy. I set an appointment with Dr. Levy months in advance to check for my daughters eye sight. She had the common cold a week before that and was recovering from that. I am a patient under Dr Levy although I am posting on my daughters account. I am set for Surgery on Oct 6 of this year. However all my visits and experiences with Dr Levy have been phenomenal, I never had to wait long in the waiting room and I found Dr Levys staff to be very helpful and thorough. Dr Levy has given me great confidence that he can correct my eye problem. He patiently listened to all my questions and concerns and answered each one in great detail. I never felt rushed.
