I called Cornelius last week (either the 11ᵗʰ or the 12ᵗʰ) to schedule an appointment for this Friday at 2:00. Today, I called Richard Kay 24 hours before the appointment and they could not find anything in the system indicating there was a scheduled visit. Today is the 18ᵗʰ. To make matters worse, the guy who answered the phone was rude and rushed me off the phone despite the questions I had about the service I was getting done on my car -- a transmission pan drop and filter change. When the Tahoe was being test drove on July 4th it had a blue piece of tape on th A pillar with the words 'parts ordered" and was told that pertained to the recall. We asked the salesman if the Tahoe was on the recall list and was told it shouldn't be. We noticed the tailpipe was bent and had Dana put in writing it would be fixed by the dealership. JR was very personable, friendly, polite and informative. He followed through with my concerns and kept me informed , even through our "telephone tag" phone calls. And I was surprised twice, which made my day. One- he walked me out to my vehicle And Two- my SUV was washed!! Both were deeply appreciated. Side note-- Which puts a ribbon on this survey. He made arrangements for me to be shuttled to my home and picked up. About a 30 minute drive . Thank you JR, and a very big thank you to my shuttle driver. He was very engaging ... read more
