Doc is the BEST!!! Diagnosed immediately and fixed my thumb in 5 minutes. Woo!!!
Horrible. Diagnosed my swollen, painful knuckle as a “periarticular calcification” even though he couldn’t see it on x-ray (calcium should be very visible on an x-ray). Gave me a cortisone shot, which felt great for a few months. Eventually, the pain returned and got worse- went to Penn and found out the ligament (RCL) completely ruptured off of my knuckle- they told me that the shot was the worst thing I could have ever gotten.
