Dr. Richard John Hartel is condescending. Didn't even speak to me before or after my colonoscopy. He's rude. Not professional at all. He needs to retire already. He needs to go. I love Franklin hospital but he has to go.

Went to see him after being in the ER twice in 1 day for not being able to keep anything down for 2 days. I’m not a normal case as I have a connective tissue disorder, which I asked him ahead of time if he understood about it. After I had an endoscopy done, he told me he didn’t know what to tell me and left the room! I am now being sent to the Mayo Clinic for a second opinion.
Nurse is dishonest. Refused to schedule me after 6 weeks of waiting in reference to acute condition that makes swallowing difficult.
