I have been Dr Findings patient for over 30 years. After undergoing a bowel surgery at 28 years old I thought I’d only become worse overtime. Thanks to Dr Findling, I was able to live my life to the fullest. He is not only patient, kind and thorough, but really the best in his field. He loves what he does which makes all the difference. I just had a Endoscopy Procedure, At Phelps by Dr. Richard Findling. From the moment we walked in we were treated very nicely by the reception desk. The registration went smoothly. 3rd floor nurses were friendly and very professional. They made sure every detail was correct. Explained everything they were doing. The head of anesthesia came in reviewed my files, then asked questions. Waited till the BP went down. Explained the procedure. Dr. Findling was the last to arrive. The office staff was unhelpful. They say first impressions are important and if his office staff is Dr. Findling's first impression, then maybe I'm glad I was unable to see him as scheduled - even though I've had an appointment on the books for almost three months. The receptionist and the office manager did not care at all about my medical condition/concerns and kept repeating inaccurate information about my medical history.
This doctor & his office is EVERYTHING that is wrong with the health care industry in our country & I would leave ZERO stars if I could! From the 1st visit to the last, this practice was a total disaster! If I did not follow up with the doctor’s office, I would have been denied for part of my procedure & would have only found out the day of. I have lost all confidence in this office. The doctor was very informative and I liked him but the rest of the experience has been awful. I have to work on the date provided for a double procedure. I had to call a dozen times to get the date changed. Each time, I was told I would receive a call the next day. Never happened. After many calls, I was finally given a date 2 months in the future.
