Dr. Gettys is an exceptional surgeon. Highly qualified, retired Naval surgeon who knows his craft. He has operated on me several times and I trust him without reservation. Perhaps the best surgeon I will ever know. I've had several emergency surgeries and wouldn't want any other surgeon to work on me. Best of the best.
I found him to be easy to talk to, understanding, and caring.
He was the rudest MD I have met. I wasn't as worried about bedside manners as long as he was good surgeon. This is the worst surgery I have ever had. I feel like I was beat up during this surgery. He told me he had NO restrictions for me, and that the hospital would, but he was the boss and I could leave after surgery and eat and do whatever I wanted to when I left. And prior to surgery being scheduled, he didn't have nice comments about the my Dr that referred me to him, nor the test ran
