He was very educational and gave literature to read concerning skin cancers. He took his time and explained the exam well.
No matter when my appointment is I always have to wait a minimum of 30 to 45 minutes. He is an OK doctor, but it's time to find a new doctor. He has a very dry wit and is difficult to communicate with him.
Had appt for 2:30. Went early to do mountain of paperwork. Was only patient. Then waited, waited, waited.. saw doc enter admin area twice... waited until 2:55, then left. If doctors do not have respect for patients and their time, we need not have respect for doctors... especially this guy!!

Competent, personable, nice staff...don't know about ease of scheduling urgent appointments as I've never had to do so. I do have to deduct one star across the board for his lousy taste in baseball teams but add it back for his choice of magazines in the waiting room. So far I've never had to wait long in the waiting room before being called back. All in all a good doctor and staff.
Gave one star because there is no way to give none! Scheduled an appointment 3 months ago as a new patient, my husband has to schedule his days off @ least a month in advance because he works M-F 5am-7pm. Received a call the day before the appointment and was told they had to reschedule as the doctor had to go out of town. Luckily Dr. James Kerners office actually has great patient care and customer service, as they were able to get us in for that very next day! As far as doctor Hemptead is
