I was a patient of Dr. Hartman (I am not any longer), and so was my sister and my mother (all of which are no longer patients). While I do believe he is skilled and knowledgeable, I also believe he is extremely out of touch and misogynistic which lead to multiple times were I was referred to as a “cow who gives her milk away for free” because I was unmarried to my partner (and now husband) of 7 years. I would absolutely not recommend him to anyone due is inability to connect with patients and his outdated mindset.

Reading some of the reviews I would think after 15 years Dr. Hartman would be able to identify severe preeclampsia. I almost died and lost my son due to his negligence 15 years ago. Multiple things were missed. Being this was my last pregnancy I didn’t know what was going on. But trusted my doctor who missed all the signs. Being older now and having an understanding of preeclampsia I want to bring awareness to women to know the symptoms.

Then he wanted to prescribe me a bladder medicine(elmiron) that is known to cause blindness that he had no clue there was a lawsuit against. And then proceeded to try to convin... read more

Dr. Hartman is a highly skilled surgeon who performed my challenging procedure with ease and without complications. He’s a compassionate and personable physician who provides a wealth of information both pre-op and post-op. I interviewed 2 other surgeons, and I’m so happy that I chose him. I highly recommend him for so many reasons.
