My family has had beyond frustrating experiences with him and his office. Up until the past two years, they had nothing but good things to say. We’ll be looking for another provider 🤷
Dr. Day is compassionate as well as knowledgeable. He has been keeping updated on latest medical practices as he has presented me with the peer-reviewed research articles. Thank you Dr. Day.
This office is only good for physicals and things that can wait at least 1-2 weeks. If you are actually sick or have something that should probably be seen that week, this office isn’t for you. I breastfeed and have had a clogged duct that just won’t unclog for a few days. They wanted to schedule me 1 week out… so I should wait 1 week and get mastitis because they don’t hold time on their schedule for appointments like this. Dr. Day is one of the kindest and thorough doctors I've known, and that's after quite a few years, while following him from Los Osos to SLO, to Arroyo Grande and now, Nipomo. He's worth the long drive! I'd give him more stars if they were there, but he's a caring star in himself!
Dr. Day is a very nice man. My 93 year old mother has been seeing him for two years. Every once in a while he looks away from the computer screen and looks at her which is nice. He usually gets her prescriptions refilled after only a half dozen phone calls and within a couple of weeks. We tried to get a refill and after three weeks two different office workers called and asked me the same questions. Each had no idea that the other had called. Totally dysfunctional there.
