I came in with fluid in my lungs. I told the doctor I was having trouble breathing, rib cage pain, and coughing. I showed him my cat scan results. I told him I had to take cough medicine to stop my lingering cough and he told me to cough and sarcastically said "that is it." He also asked me a ridiculous question what if I stop taking cough syrup what would happen, of course I would keep on coughing! I felt that question was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Absolutely the best doctor I have ever known. Thorough examination, covers all aspects of illness. Quick appointment, no long waiting time. Records accessible through epic so no extra steps to review history in case of emergency room visits. Highly recommend!!!!!
I tried giving him a chance after my first visit . My partner commented that he did not seem interested in what I had to say . His bedside manner is apathetic , uncaring and is in a hurry to get you out the door, lacks compassion . Does not get back to you regarding test results in a timely manner . It makes me wonder if there is some unconscious bias involved . I am a person of color and disabled .
