Dr. Hill did my hysterectomy and 4 other procedures on 9.20.21. During the laparoscopic procedure, he severed my ureter. He had to cut my belly 6” to find the injury! The aftercare I received following was for a hysterectomy patient, not a urology patient which I now was which led to issues. When voicing my concerns to Dr. Hill or his staff, I was told I needed to toughen up, take my pain meds, or be patient and let my body heal insinuating the problems I experienced were my fault. I needed to have a hysterectomy due to large fibroid tumors that were causing bleeding. Dr. Hill was recommended and seemed very trustworthy. He insisted that I also needed another procedure to prevent me from having constant UTI's in my old age. I'd had very few issues with UTI's, but trusted his judgment. I should have gotten a second opinion on that. They sent me home the same day as my surgery. I had surgery in June 2021. I wore a pessary for a year and then it wasn't working anymore for me. His PA, Debra, was always good to work with. Dr. Hill did a great job performing a hysterectomy as well as other repairs. He explained the procedure to me before, at the hospital to my daughter and I & at my 6-week exam. When I first consulted with him, I felt he was not very personable but he was easier to relate to as I knew him more. I call him well qualified and that is all that mattered to me. Excellent. Very responsive to concerns and questions. Did exam during this office visit, prescribed exercises and medications, as well as a six week follow-up visit with his PA. We are very pleased.
A great surgery result! 8 years post op now. A super nice guy too.
1 Year out after my surgery, and I have no regrets. Dr Hill and his staff are the best.
