These people need to get an education on mental illness. I have cptsd, borderline that manifested from the trauma, adhd and a hormone disorder. Dr. Speid put me on Yaz which I have been on for over a month now and since then I have been downward spiraling really bad. Dr Heywood is the best, hands down! His sense of humor allows you to relax in what can be a pretty awkward setting, lol, all while keeping things professional… he keeps things light, makes ya feel at ease, and listens all at the same time. If you’re hesitant to have a male obgyn, don’t be, after going to a few female ones, having found Dr Heywood has been a huge relief!

Dr. Heywood truly takes the time to listen to his patients. I left every appointment feeling heard, having all of my questions answered and not once did I feel rushed. Laura worked extra hard to make sure that my insurance had everything they needed to make sure my surgery would be approved. She was great about communicating where things were at. I highly highly recommend this office!
