When I visited Richard Rames Jr for hip pain. I received x-rays and returned to my original room. I was told it was more than likely bursitis and we decided to do a steroid injection in each hip. This was in March 2025. In August 2025, I received an email with a statement requesting additional payment. When I inspected the statement online I found my insurance company was billed $1452.00 with $900.00 detailed as “Operating Room”. I WAS NOT IN A SURGERY (OPERATING) ROOM! Waited 50 minutes in the exam room. Then opened the door and the staff was surprised. The attendant failed to put the clip board on the door and staff and no idea. What if an elderly person were in the room for 50 minutes and fell, no one ever checked. You would think with a closed door for that long someone would have been curious. Other doctor offices have all the rooms noted in the computer and the current status. First visit was great but this second visit changed that picture.
I had two hip replacements done by Dr Rames Jr. I would highly recommend him. He did such a fantastic job, the office gets back to you with any questions or problems you have immediately. He is a very knowledgeable doctor. I have already recommended him to two other colleagues. Definitely a 5 out of five for me.

Dr. Rames, Jr. went above and beyond with his care for me. On a Sunday! He met me at his office and treated my incision which had become infected. He followed up on Monday with a call to see how I was doing. Can’t express my gratitude enough. Perry
