Yesterday I had the opportunity to speak with a patient regarding a hospice referral, and something that really stood out most was how highly they spoke of Dr. Hedelius. It’s always meaningful to see the level of trust and compassion that exists between a provider and their patient. Conversations like this remind me how important strong, supportive relationships are in guiding patients and families through difficult decisions. Truly grateful to work alongside physicians who make such a lasting impact.
Dr. Hedelius was so thorough and genuinely kind and compassionate with my 82 year old mother. With very few people advocating for this older generation, it was so refreshing to experience a doctor who really cares and is actually helpful. Additionally, his nurse, Bobbi Jo, was incredible and made us feel like we were important to them. A nice change from what we have experienced in Atlanta.
Dr. Hedelius is the most impressive pulmonologist I’ve ever seen. I’m 52 years old, & had lung issues my entire life. Most pulmonary doctors in the past just put on a new inhaler & pushed me out the door. After some serious issues started popping up (not seeing improvement with past doctors), I started seeing Dr. H. Dr Richard Ulf David Hedelius, DO, presented as professional but, seemed sort of rushed, more concerned with his own personal "safety from contamination" by patients, and seemed very lead by following "protocols" rather than investigating patient's concern of symptoms. I did not feel confident of his care for me as an individual. I would NOT go back to him.
Dr H. Explain 100% of every thing to my husband and I and made sure all our questions were answered!
