Richard D. Tompkins has made me a believer that a Nurse Practitioner can meet all of my family's needs. I was already part of the practice and became acquainted with Mr. Tompkins when my son became sick & I needed to have him evaluated the same day. I am fortunate to have Rick Tompkins as my healthcare provider. He is respectful and talks to me in a manner which I understand. My previous Dr. talked down to me and made me feel like I was a buffon Rick is courteous and professional. Mr. Tompkins has the ability to make you feel at ease during your office time. I have been under his care for the last four years and have been glad that I changed providers. I will admit that I did have some reservations about selecting a nurse practitioner for my primary provider. However, others in the community spoke highly of him.
