Absolutely terrible experience with Dr. Richard Cohen’s office. I had a follow-up appointment scheduled for my bloodwork today. The moment I walked in, the staff told me they were running behind because they had clearly over-scheduled patients. Fine — delays happen. I stepped outside for five minutes to take a call, and as soon as I returned, they told me the doctor “tried to squeeze me in” but since I wasn’t physically sitting there at that exact second, they had to reschedule my appointment. I seen Dr Cohen since I was 12 and Everytime I came to him about any problems he was very dismissive about it and pretty much told me I was exhadurating. I just started seeing a new doctor and immediately she gave me a test for hyperthyroidism and diabetes and told me I have a heart murmur. And was diagnosed with narcolepsy. Not one time did he ever do any of those tests or listen to me when I complained about chest tightness. I'm just happy I'm getting the help I need before it's too late.
Believe the reviews. This office is terrible about canceling appointments. It takes forever to get in and they constantly cancel. Staff is not friendly or helpful. It’s too bad because we liked the doctor, but we can’t work with the unreliability and lack of professionalism.
I had an appointment here as a new patient, received several messages that my appointment was canceled by the office and there were no other new patient appointments available so I didn't go. Then today I receive a letter in the mail saying I missed my appointment! I'll just find somewhere else to go.
