If I could give zero stars I would. My mother saw Dr. Perkins for neck pain that was ongoing weeks following a slight head injury. At first he said it was likely just inflammation that caused slight compression. After insisting on imaging, he did an x-ray and diagnosed her with arthritis in the neck. A week later she asked him for an MRI that he was adamant she didnt need. After a heated debate and some patient shaming, he finally ordered the MRI, which found a large tumor on her brain stem that is cancerous. Steer clear.
I met with Dr. Perkins and was completely impressed with his knowledge, competence and willingness to spend the time with me to explain all the alternatives available to me.
Office was good, staff very nice and helpful and my doctor very forthcoming and explained everything to me about moving forward.
Extremely quick, sent me to physically therapy when I had infection in my back. Rude doctor who does not listen to patient. Do you hear me?
Really appreciated the thorough/unrushed explanation of my diagnosis and my options for treatment.
